Big Pineapple Farmers Market – Sunshine Coast

Whilst on holiday at the Sunshine Coast, a must see is the Big Pineapple Saturday Markets. This has to be one of the best farmers markets I have been to with countless stalls all selling unique locally produced food. Most of the stalls have tastings plates so you can try the amazing food before you buy. My favourite stall had sweet Duka – cinnamon and walnut or dark chocolate and coffee where a hit.  There is also a large food court area so you can by some lunch and you can either have a picnic on the grounds or take it to the viewing deck and enjoy tranquil grounds.

If you are heading there with a small family the Big Pineapple also has a wonderful petting zoo that will keep the kids amused.

The Big Pineapple Market has plenty of parking is half undercover, so makes for a perfect morning out if the weather is not so good.

Sunshine Coast Accommodation Reviews

This review was posted on Trip Advisor.

This was our 2nd stay at Seaview. After returning from a stay in March 2011 we were thrilled to find out we had won another 3 nights accommodation. We stayed in March 2012 for 4 nights. Love this accommodation. The apartments are huge and the views are fantastic. Both times we have stayed on the 5th floor and if I had a choice I would stay in the middle apartment with the front facing balcony. The side apartment we stayed in this time had good views and also views towards Glasshouse Mountains. Could not fault the apartment for cleanliness and everything you need is right there in the apartment. A nice easy short stroll to the Esplanade where there is an abundance of eateries and shops. Mooloolaba is my favourite holiday destination and we have stayed in a few difference places there but I would definitely recommend Seaview and will be returning for sure.”

Great Reviews for Seaview Resort – Mooloolaba Accommodation

This lovely review was posted on Trip Advisor.

“Just returned from 8 wonderful nights at Seaview Resort over Easter and the first week of the NZ school holidays. Had a three bedroom on the 5th floor apartment overlooking the great Mooloolaba Beach. The weather was fantastic and the pool kept the kids happy. Plenty of room for 5 adults, a 1 year old and a nine year old. The staff are great and nothing was a problem. We’ll be back ………. :-)”
