Restaurant Review Mooloolaba

The Sunshine Coast has so much to offer when it comes to fresh, local, seasonal produce and if you are a bit of a ‘foodie’ it’s the perfect place to visit for an array of locally made, delicious, great quality food. Mooloolaba is famous for its beautiful prawns but locally there are organic dairies, cheese makers, farmers markets and so much more. Mooloolaba is a fantastic hot spot for unique and innovative cafes with a heavy bias towards healthy.

This week I visited one of my favourites- CK Wholefoods. Just a short stroll from Seaview and offering all day breakfasts, fresh juices and raw treats, there is a nice relaxed feeling and a broad choice on offer, including products for sale in their shop. I opted for the Japanese brown rice seaweed salad with salmon, a beetroot/carrot/orange/pineapple and sweet potato juice- all of which was delicious. I also finished off with a turmeric latte and a raw berry cheesecake (so good).

It is lovely to eat at a place that takes such care over the ingredients they use and who also support local farmers and suppliers, encouraging this vibrant element of Sunshine Coast life.
