Winter on the Sunshine Coast means whale watching. It is expected between 15,000 and 16,000 whales will be heading north this year to the warmer waters. Mooloolaba is a fantastic place to take a boat trip out and see the whales. There are several companies offering very different experiences. Many of them offer 100% guarantee to see whales.

Jamaica Blue fine coffees – Mooloolaba

Mooloolaba Coffee Shop

When staying in Mooloolaba it is essential to head out for breakfast. Jamaica Blue has a perfect location on Mooloolaba Esplanade with a view of the ocean. The cafe opens early and offers breakfast, lunch, cakes and drinks. The menu offers a twist to your normal breakfast options, with sides such as – caramelised onions, green chutney, potato cakes and salsa. Their meals are well presented with the menu also offering `light` options. A great Mooloolaba cafe with views over the ocean.
