Lawn Bowls State Championships

April 4, 2018

When: 14 to 27 May, 2018
Where: Sunshine Coast District Host Clubs TBA

Roll up to Queensland Lawn Bowls State Championships being held over 2 weeks at various bowling clubs on the Sunshine Coast.

Lawn Bowls is no longer a game for the senior citizens. It is a game that can be played by anyone aged from nine to ninety. Most competitive championship players are a lot younger these days and although it looks easy it can be a physically demanding game.

Queensland’s State Championships are open to all Bowls Queensland affiliated bowlers. These championships enable players to compete for state titles in Singles, Pairs, Over-60s Pairs, Mixed Pairs, Triples and Fours.

Capturing a coveted state crown places the winner in the company of some of Queensland’s greatest bowlers. Winners of the Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours advance to the Australian Championships.
