Do all apartments have a sea view?
All our apartments face the ocean and have sea views unobstructed by any buildings opposite. The ocean views from apartments between the 5th to the 12th floor are truly outstanding; those from the 4th floor down have a partially restricted view because of trees opposite.
What apartments do you have?
Seaview Resort has twelve floors and on each floor there is one ‘Headland’ three bedroom apartment, two ‘Pandanus’ two bedroom apartments and one ‘Sunrise’ two bedroom apartment. The two bedroom apartments are easily changed into one bedroom apartments by locking off the second bedroom and bathroom.
The ‘Pandanus’ apartments have large front balconies whilst the ‘Headland’ and ‘Sunrise’ apartments have large front and back balconies. The back balconies look out towards the Glasshouse Mountains.
Are the apartments large?
The Seaview Resort apartments are amongst the largest in Mooloolaba. The ‘Headland’ apartments are 149m², the ‘Sunrise’ 142m² and the ‘Pandanus’ 125m². This excludes the balconies.
What are the bedding arrangements?
All the apartments, except one 3 bedroom apartment, have a Queen bed in the master bedroom and single beds in the other bedrooms. The one 3 bedroom apartment has a double bed in the second bedroom instead of the two singles.
Are the apartments ‘Corporate’?
All the apartments are individually owned and furnished according to the owners taste. No two apartments are the same.
Are the apartments air-conditioned?
Of the forty apartments in the holiday letting pool there are two that are not air-conditioned. Being close to the sea there is normally an onshore breeze that cool the apartments, and all apartments have ceiling fans.
How many people may stay in an apartment?
Two people may stay in a one bedroom apartment, up to four people in a two bedroom apartment and up to six in a three bedroom apartment. Children from four years of age are counted as a person. Subject to fire regulations one extra person may stay in an apartment using a foldaway bed, there would be an additional charge for the foldaway bed.
Do you have a ‘No Party Policy’?
We want everyone to enjoy their stay but cannot accept any loud or unruly parties or behavior that would upset other guests. We would not hesitate to call Security or the Police in such cases. This for the benefit of all guests so that they may enjoy a peaceful stay.
Are children welcome?
The Seaview Resort is family and child friendly, we love families.
What are the check-in and check-out times.
From Monday to Saturday the check-in time is in the afternoon from 2pm until 5pm, on Sundays it is from 2pm until 4pm. Arrangements may be made with reception for a later check-in if necessary.
Check out in the morning is by 10am.
Are the apartments serviced?
The apartments are self-catering. A change of linen is provided after seven days. Should a service be required at any time during your stay this can be arranged at an extra charge.
Does the Apartment have a Kitchen?
All the apartments are self-catering and has a fully equipped kitchen with a cook-top, oven, microwave oven, fridge, dish washer, crockery, cutlery, etc.
What size is your swimming pool?
The pool is L shaped with a children’s pool attached to the main pool. The main pool is approximately 9m x 5m with depths ranging from 1.0m to 1.3m. The children’s pool is approximately 5m x 4m with a depth of 0.9m.
The pool is heated to 28ºc in the cooler weather.
What other facilities are there?
There is a barbecue and entertainment area with two electric barbecues, a half size tennis court, a sauna and games room equipped with a pool table. A wide selection of indoor games is available from reception at no extra charge.
No need to bring tennis racquets as we provide both adult and children’s racquets and balls at no charge.
Is there secure parking?
Seaview Resort has secure basement parking. Each apartment has one parking space and there is plenty of street parking around the resort.
Is there internet access?
There is Wifi internet access with good reception on all floors. Also there is an internet kiosk located in the games room.
Is there cable TV and DVD players?
There are DVD players and Austar available in all apartments.
How far is the patrolled beach?
It is a pleasant stroll of about 400 metres past the shops, cafes and restaurants to the patrolled beach near the surf club. A great area to stop for breakfast, or lunch, or just a coffee, on the way to or from the beach. The start of the famous sandy Mooloolaba beach is about 150 metres away.
Is there a supermarket nearby?
Coles is a two minute walk away on Venning Street. Shopping trolleys can be brought back to Seaview Resort and left in the basement, by the lifts. We then arrange with Coles to pick them up.
Also there is a great bakery about the same distance away on Mooloolaba Esplanade and, a little further on, one of the best ice cream shops on the coast.
Can you help us book tours and airport transfers?
We would be very pleased to book bus transfers for you from either Brisbane or Maroochy Airports. From Brisbane Airport it takes about 11/2 hrs and from Maroochy airport about twenty minutes
We can also book tours for you, anything from Fraser Island, Eumundi Market, Whale Watching (in season), Noosa Everglades or a visit to the Hinterland and many others. |
